Sanji, also known as "Black Leg" Sanji, is a prominent character in the anime and manga series, One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda. He eventually escaped this oppressive environment, finding refuge with Zeff, a legendary pirate and head chef of the Baratie, a floating restaurant. Zeff instilled in Sanji his culinary skills and his chivalrous code.
